Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development
The DWD is the state agency charged with building and strengthening Wisconsin's workforce. The DWD offers a wide variety of employment programs and services, including: securing jobs for the disabled, protecting and enforcing worker's rights, processing unemployment claims and ensuring worker's compensation claims are paid in accordance with the law.

Wisconsin Department of Commerce
The Department of Commerce provides development assistance in areas such as marketing, business and community finance, exporting, small business advocacy, and manufacturing assessments.

Wisconsin Small Business Development Center - UW-Oshkosh
and Wisconsin Small Business Development Center - UW-Green Bay
Working in partnership with the U.S. Small Business Administration and the University of Wisconsin-Extension, the Small Business Development Centers (SBDC) provide free counseling services and moderately-priced training programs to startup and existing businesses.
